Item No. 17
Face Bowl by Dolores Porras

Dolores Porras is from the historic ceramic village of Atzompa.
Originally, Atzompa was known for its green glaze pottery or

for its multicolored clay pottery. This face bowl offered here is a
prime example. Dolores Porras is prominently featured in the book,
Oaxacan Ceramics: Traditional Folk Art by Oaxacan Women
(Chronicle 2003) and has won numerous awards for her work.
