Many of the artesanos we meet are not accustomed to documenting their magnificent artwork. This means that future clients see only the pieces that happen to be present at the time of their visits, and remain unaware of the full scope of artists’ repertoires.
FOFA has provided many artesanos with small albums to encourage them to document their work. When possible, our volunteers assist them in photographing and cataloguing their artwork in a concise and compact manner that can be shared with potential collectors. This includes taking multiple images of an individual piece from different angles to convey its exquisite detail.
