2009 Holiday Folk Art Exhibition

In early November, 2009, FOFA organized a three-day exhibition of folk art from Oaxaca, representing the work of approximately 30 artists.

This was attended by nearly 300 people. On opening night, delicious botanas and cocktails were offered for those who wished to have first choice of the beautiful display of artworks.

The Mexico Tourism Board lent its support for this occasion.

Proceed of over $12,000 went directly into the pockets of each Oaxacan artist represented, personally delivered by FOFA board members Amy Mulvihill and Joyce M. Grossbard.
