Floriberta Reyes Gómez and her husband Andrés Cruz Hernández (San Bartolo Coyotepec)

Floriberta and her husband, Andrés Cruz Hernández, work together with their two children, Carlos and Érica, to create wonderful miniature jugs and pots in black pottery. Their versatility and delicacy is unequalled. They produce twenty varieties, including jugs, pots, pitchers, vessels for making chocolate, flower pots, and vases. Customers rarely visit their home, although they are welcome to do so.  It is located in a heavenly spot, adjacent to glorious open fields at the end of a long, little traveled road. Instead the family typically sells to fellow artisans in the local market who then sell to the public.
