Oaxacan Holiday Sale   Dear Friends, We are extremely happy to report that, due to your generosity, we raised more than $12,000 at our Oaxacan holiday sale on November 13th – 15th. This amount surpassed our expectations. Although tourism in Oaxaca is improving slightly, the inclement weather over the summer has caused serious problems with the growth of marketable crops, adding yet another layer of distress for the Oaxaqueños. With that as a backdrop, the sale money -- all of which is now being directly given to the artesanos -- will help them to continue in their tradition of creating beautiful folk art, as well as providing for the basic needs of their families in this coming year. FOFA hopes to build upon this year's success. In addition to other planned activities, we anticipate having a similar holiday sale next year.
